Colormaker toppings are available in grey or white base. These products can be integrally colored, acid stained or dyed.

Activator/Primer

• CP1000

CP1000 is the wet side for all the Colormaker Cementitious Toppings. The acrylic emulsion provides increased adhesion, tensile impact, flexural compression strength to toppings. It improves abrasion and freeze/thaw resistance as well as increasing surface density.

Chemical Acid Stains

• Patinaetch

Patinaetch is a concrete acid stain producing natural variegated earth tones when applied to concrete. These acid stains react with the free lime in the cement matrix, highlighting irregularities on the surface rather than covering them up, as in the case of paint. The variegations are not defects, but the reason for selecting this method of coloring.

Water Based Dyes

• Someru

The translucent water-based Someru Concrete Dye creates a pastel watercolor look. Easily applied with a pump up garden sprayer. This is the ideal coloration system when layers of color are required.

Solvent Based Dyes

• Decographic

Colormaker Decographic Concrete Dyes are solvent based translucent penetrating color solutions. Perfect for shifting color from subtle earth tones to vibrant hues and can be used to increase depth and color range of Patina acid stained concrete.
