We contracted Pantheon Concrete to acid stain the concrete floors in our 1000 sq ft condominium in Calgary. We were very impressed with the quality of service and workmanship which we received from this company. Damien and Frank know everything there is to know about concrete (including all types of stone and tile), its properties, capabilities and possible applications. They take the time to explain every step of their operations in detail. Acid staining concrete floors is a time consuming and, in most cases, a very messy (dusty) operation, but they maintained a high standard of work-place cleanliness. They showed an amazing amount of flexibility and incredible insight into what would look good and what would not. Acid staining concrete is not like opening a can of paint. One can never predict exactly what the results will be. In our case, the concrete floor turned out to be darker than expected due to the nature of our concrete, and one part of the floor could not be stained at all because of its hardness. Again Pantheon Concrete came up with creative and innovative suggestions. The results were nothing less than spectacular. We are very happy with our floors and will be contacting Pantheon in the future to do more work in our home.
